Sports
Wanting to play sports? The Romans loved sports, its what entertained them through out their days. Romans would always go to sporting events either watching or playing. The Romans favorite sports to watch and play was chariot races. During chariot races the goal is to guide your chariot around the track and be the first to cross the finish line. The chariots were guided by one person and pulled by horses. Generally the races would consist of seven laps around the arena. Between start and finish basically anything was aloud, there were no lanes so people would run into each other some times causing people to fall out of their chariots which led to death from getting trampled. The races drew such a large crowd because they would bet on chariots and it was very entertaining to the Romans. They also played gladiator games. During these gladiator games Romans would basically just fight each other to death using battle techniques. Gladiator games and chariot races were the two most popular events in the Roman Empire and both would attract a large crowd. So if any of these sports sound interesting me then contact me at 222-2222! I am hosting an event of chariot races and gladiator games, spots are filling fast so call ASAP!
